I always thought birch beer kind of tasted like root beer plus cream soda, so you should try that sometime I bet you’d like it

Root beer used to be commonly mildly alcoholic (.5-1%). We made traditional root beer in my AP bio class in high school, and weren’t allowed to drink it because of the alcohol

Damn, how they gonna have you make a consumable product in class and not even allow you to taste it?

The teacher was pretty cool, so I feel like she would have let us try it, but I’ve never met a science teacher who doesn’t have a viscerally negative reaction to the idea of eating something made in a lab. Honestly, the alcohol was probably an excuse

Fair enough, teacher basically covering her own ass. Still, it couldn’t be any more alcohol than a sip of cough syrup just to taste it…

Also not a yank but I can definitely tell the difference IMO

Root beer tastes like medicine, Jaeger tastes like if Coca-Cola made an aniseed & mint version and you drank the syrup straight

I guess you could add root beer to fermenting grain, but the end result probably won’t taste like what you expect it too.

Though I respect your choice of root beer, I think Virgil’s got it beat, sorry homie.

I have to respect Virgil’s, it is definitely a high quality product made well, but it has too much spearmint for me.

Apparently folks from overseas hate root beer because it tastes like a common medication

You ever have a screamer with rootbear slush? It’s probably the best and using this to double up on the ice cream float flavour would be really good I bet
