  • I wish it hadn’t changed, it’s gotten much worse, as has much of Reddit. Like the other guy said, all the mods on MFA left last year and took the core community to Discord (apparently, I don’t use Discord though). What’s left is just middle schoolers and bot accounts.

Interestingly I did hop back on Reddit a few days ago on a little check-in and saw this post on MFA. Might’ve been the subconscious reason I name dropped it above in the first place.

Silly silly bedroom lol. Malelivingspace is the malefashionadvice for chubby reddit boys. Everything plain, soulless, and inoffensive. No character whatsoever, just “stick to the template,” Eames lounges and brasilia credenzas galore. The only place online where “what color KALLAX should I get to match my 670?” is asked as a serious question and will get many strongly opinionated replies.

Live a little in your living space. I think even basic.space gives better homespherebuilding advice than that sub

Federal law defines domestic terrorism roughly as violent acts occurring within the United States “intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population” or to influence government policy or conduct.

And in your own words, please explain how that definition applies to Dylan Roof, who, in his own words, tried to start a race war, and not Luigi Mangione who shot a single CEO who he had a direct connection to.

  • I sympathize with the bottom part so much. My parents absolutely refused to cook anything ever and bought the worst, most unhealthy prepackaged foods from the grocery stores. I spent the first years of my life thinking that things like apples just weren’t sold at my local Kroger because we never had them. I felt like shit mentally and physically for pretty much the first 18 years of my life because of it.

I grew up, moved out, and holy shit I love eating “rabbit food,” as my dad used to call it and I never would have learned before is that cooking is fun

  • The new “Off-Platform conduct” rule gives Riot Games the right to issue game penalties when hateful content is brought to their attention. The new clause says Riot Games won’t proactively search for social media for violations. Instead, players can report cases about an offending player’s conduct on a livestream in which one of its games serves as “the background of the content produced.” If Riot determines that the player violated its TOS, Riot could issue a penalty “as if that behavior occurred in-game,” according to the TOS.

If this is all it is then I’m really not going to throw my arms up
