Well, being super smart in one field doesn’t necessarily mean you have common sense. You could be the greatest physicist in the world but still think lizard people control everything.

Dating apps are terrible because they don’t want you to actually find a good partner. If you find a good partner, you have no need for the dating app anymore. So they’ll match you with people that’ll peak your interest, but ultimately won’t work out.

Obviously there’s more to it than just that, but this is a big part of the problem.

For the most part, people like to work. To feel like they’re doing something, to be productive. This is within reason of course. The work should be something they enjoy, and no one likes being overworked.

Oh god have had people try this exact thing with me before.
