    Doesn’t run down as quickly if I remember correctly, my dad used to do this

      It’s actually the opp for most batteries. They drain quicker in the cold.

        Cold can allow the internal resistance of a battery to drop, so if it’s cold when it’s in use, I’ll discharge more quickly.

        Storage, meh. Not sure if there’s an effect. Some people think so, but I’m not sure if there’s any scientific basis for it.
