Of all possible next targets he could choose, Finland , Norway or Sweden would be the dumbest ever. These countries are prepared, always have been. It would be fucking hard, even without NATO. The next targets would more likely be other not well affiliated countries like Moldova, Georgia. Then Baltics.
The people you meet while travelling are not the average people. The average American never travels to another state, let alone to other continents… Same is true for many people in many countries: Asians visiting Europe are top % of population in wealth and brains. It’s dissapointing and depressing but fox probably gives you a more true picture of average Americans than Americans you meet while travelling.
Don’t ever give out your templates or show your process. If they can hire someone less experienced at a much cheaper rate, they eventually will.
I think you’re usually legally obligated to. I mean, crappy boss never ask is one thing, but if they inquire how you do your job, which templates you use etc, the employer owns the templates you created during your paid work time on probably the computer which is also the employers property. You don’t have to throw every detail about how you do your job on the table yourself if no-one asks, but if they do you should or they’ld win any legal dispute and you could be fired on bad (financial) terms. Likely whatever you show and explain is still to “complicated” anyhow.
Yes, in a similar way, north Korea is closer to being a monarchie than anything else. Totalitarian monarchy.
Exactly what I’m looking for! I’ld like back sleeping but with a slightly tilted, side supported head. Lean head all the way = neck pain. Head straight = can’t fall asleep. I’ve tried stuff with backsleeping+ side support for leaning the head, but the extra pillow on the head side isn’t strong enough (doesn’t last) and it all gets too hot around the head.
you make me think i might, who knows. It looks and feels as a half-blocked element by something tho. The lay-over pop-up thing is getting thru, it’s content is not. Now I found out that I can “click” some of the whiteness (turns into a hand), but don’t know what I’ld be agreeing to.
First there’s this: which the only option is “review options”. There is no “close it for now” or whatever. It’s not a choice but a command.
Some Google services are not linked Choose whether to share your data across YouTube and other Google services
Review choices
If clicking the review choices, I get a blank window with some “ghost elements” and when I inspect some of these it for example says “yes, link”. But I’ld rather not. Tried turning off all my extensions and refreshing but that still didn’t render it readable to me.
Yeah i used to do that. Then i got hooked by how easy it became to just stream all the time. Local made me feel like i got stuck on the same music after a while a bit too much, and getting new music required effort. I became lazy.
I honestly don’t care if it’s a user issue or a platform issue. It’s annoying af.
Yes, EU, they probably have to. Thing is i can’t see a thing on that pop-up, something somewhere is blocking it. Turned off ublock, still not showing, turned off i don’t care about cookies, still shows nothing. So it’s a white, empty pop-up on which i can’t click a thing and can’t get beyond it.
i think it’s whoever made the playlist i dunno. It’s mildly infuriating to me anyhow that someone would post a “full album …” and compose it with videos which all together do not form the album they claim it is in the title of the playlist.
If you really live in a 500 yo house, the walls are probably like 1 meter thick full stone/brick and the windows are tiny. They stay cold in summer, it’s like living in a cave.
The much more common 60-100 yo houses on the other hand…
Passive cooling and designing buildings to not overheat during summer in the first place is the way. And phoenix or Las Vegas shouldn’t be much more than a gas station, they’re unlivable hellholes without permanently pumping enormous amounts of energy in.
Not just you. I hate AC. Awful being in hotel rooms where it’s AC all the way and you can’t even really open a window in the room. I get sore throat and usually they’re really noisy too, so I can’t sleep without earplugs. I very much prefer opening a window and airing thoroughly in the evening and then during the night leaving window on kip. Travelling many days or weeks in AC vehicles really makes me sick.
That means the powers aren’t balanced enough. In USA I have the impression way too much power lies with 1 person from 1 party. In a democracy, absolute majorities should always be avoided in the most powerful places and policy should always remain the outcome (compromise) of talks between many different parties. The elections serve to point out how strongly represented every faction is, but no 1 faction should ever get near the amount of absolute control it has in the USA. Fact a 3rd party can’t arise means the democracy is functionally paralysed, not functioning in democratic way.
Giant Douche vs Turd Sandwich. Again. USA needs to somehow break free from the 2-party nonsense.
Stick around here and you’ll just be a dogmatic arch evangelist around that age!
hmm, you’re gonna hate it but the reason is “because edge is already there” pre-installed
If you properly use firefox personalised the way you want it, it gives you shitty unusable websites in Europe too. Banking says no, newspapers being buggy to unreadable with certain script blocking or cookie refusal, disable adblock to continue windows etc, it all exists here too. I always try ff. If really needed I open the shitty site in edge and afterwards return to ff… Also public (tax payer funded!) flemish radio and tv for example is completely unusable in ff with proper settings, works “perfect” in edge or chrome. German and Dutch public TV and radio works fine in ff tho.
There’s really great deals on 2nd hand computers because of win11 tho…
