Sometimes I think that being neurodivergent in modern times can be a species of sane in a crazy world.
Things in general are objectively fucked up, have been for a while, and are likely to get worse. Having a problem with interfacing your internal world to this system might not, at least primarily, be the result of a problem with your internal world.
If you’re extremely empathetic, for instance, you might feel an overwhelming dread or sadness in the modern world. Is the primary flaw in that situation with you or with the evils of the world you struggle to process?
I’m in this picture and I don’t like it

I have had multiple comments that I likely have ADHD. One asked if I had something else common I forget what.
My answer is maybe. I don’t exactly go to the doctor. I know I should, but I’m generally healthy and don’t want to spend $200 every couple months to be told what I already know.
And it really bothers me when people claim something because they think the label is cool/trendy/some sort of thing to be proud of. Man I didn’t do anything but be born. Feels like something to be neutral of when you’re born with it. I didn’t earn anything. I take no meds. I have no diagnosis. Who am I to claim I have something when I’m undiagnosed and could end up just adding to a trend of claiming something just because it grants me bragging rights or something? I want people who need help to be able to get help, not be drowned out by undiagnosed people like me claiming they have something making it harder to see who actually needs help and who want to be in the cool club.
I function fine with just ibuprofen now and then. So thanks in advance to anyone who’d say to go get diagnosed, but I’m in the United Corporations of America. I’ll stick with my on the shelf pain drug, caffeine, and copium. Helps me pay for other things easier.
I rambled. Good meme. Got me thinking again.
If ADHD has explanatory power for you, I don’t see the issue with self diagnosis. It’s not like diagnoses are zero-sum.
It’s always adhd 0_o
That’s just what the micro plastics are telling you
But are you diagnosed with microplastics?
nah they give you the certificate on birth https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/dec/22/microplastics-revealed-in-placentas-unborn-babies
This would be an excellent t-shirt to add to my half dozen or so cat t-shirts.
