    Macron’s first and second presidential elections were second round left-centre team ups, right? Is there a reason to think it wouldn’t happen this time?

      Centrists forcing lefties to rally behind them to stop fascism is a classic.

      Centrists rallying behind the left to stop fascism… Not so much.

      See the Democrats rather having Hillary throw the election than put in Bernie in 2016.

      Before, the left helped the liberals here win over the Nazis. Now the question is whether the liberals will help the left win this time. Quite a different problem

        What’s going to happen is that they will help just enough to be able to say they helped, but not enough to change anything in the end
