In what reality is Taylor known for making bad music?
I don’t really listen to her stuff, but I’ve heard it and none of it sounds off-putting. I’ve also never heard anyone who likes music complain that her music is unpleasant to listen to.
I guess most of what I’ve heard from her wasn’t “bad,” but it wasn’t “good,” I’d describe it as just “uninteresting.” It’d probably start annoying me if I had to listen to a full album of hers, because it’s not the type of music I enjoy at all.

What’s silly is that due the horrific nature of nuclear weapons you probably would not survive no matter what you did. The only chance would be if you were on the edge of the blast radius.
Gives people a sense of control over something uncontrollable.
it’s all about damage mitigation. you want to be away from the worst overpressure and glass, then, in a part of the structure likely to remain standing. you’ll probably still be thrown around and hurt, but reducing the kids who died from flying glass and covering their head will mitigate a lot of potential trauma.
now, depending on the winds and what kind of weapon was employed, mitigation may be silly, but you always train to do as much as is practical.
Also I think these drills - growing up - were actually smoke breaks for the teachers.

Retired ex musician here. I finally listened to some of her music. Eventually, all nonsense from the US swaps over here to Europe. Be it the orange dementia nazi or her. Wow, why the fuck is everyone hyping her? Most basic music, terrible sound engineering, dumb as fuck lyrics. Jaysus Christ on a bike, y’all need to evolve a decent taste in music. Swift makes me want to vomit. Listen to some Fontaines D.C. with Starbuster, Sleafold Mods or Big Special for a while. Oof, rant over. Sorry.
