At one end of the house the window tilts (bottom out), the window at the other end other slides. The sliding window has much more space — half of the viewing area — open to the breeze than the tilting
It’s not like our windows don’t open, they just don’t tilt. I frequently open the windows and get a breeze going when it’s nice outside!
