It’s a lot easier if you have an office job, even easier if you’re full time remote. My experience has been the first round is over the phone, in which case before the pandemic I used to just go find an empty meeting room or go out to my car to take the call. For in person interviews, I’ll “have an appointment” and take a half day.

  • I can see how the “manual” workflow might be preferable to some, so I’d say this app is a good rec nonetheless, thanks!

One thing, though—I noticed East and West are flipped on the map, and I haven’t played with it enough to ascertain why that is. Is this by design?

EDIT: I guess this orientation makes sense if I orient myself facing south and looking up, in which case east would be to my left and everything inside the circle represents what is visible to me from that time and location, right?

  • Leaked how? No good practice allows any way for a password to “leak”.

Suppose a social media website has a data breach.

What rotating passwords does is ensure people who don’t use a password manager either write their password down more and more frequently, or use a weaker password with some simple changing pattern that doesn’t add anything.

Okay, but suppose I use a password manager like Keepass, then does rotating my passwords not make me any safer in the event a social media website’s data is breached and ends up being sold off on the dark web?
