I think a stupidly bright flashlight is preferable to a laser, but the idea of signalling for help with a light can work. Please don’t use lasers.

You say that, but once someone on the ground was shining a bright ass flashlight, not a laser but just as bright, at us and they were flashing …—… (SOS in Morse). Apparently we were the 4th plane to report it to air traffic control. I’ve never seen that before or since, but at least that time it worked.

As someone who goes through TSA several times a week. Nah fuck that, some of the smurfs are absolutely there to fuck your day up just because they can. I’d say about 60% of the officers are highly mediocre, about 30% are good, but that last 10% are just malicious.

My pixel 6 is about 3 years old and the only wear I can see on it is a single little micro scratch in the top right corner of the screen that I can’t see without a light reflecting off of it. I don’t bother with a screen protector, just a thin silicon case. Battery is fine for about 2 days of normal use even though I regularly use a wireless charger.

I’ve been daily driving the pre-alpha since January, it’s definitely got a bit of jank, but it’s in really good shape. The alpha should be pretty usable, and I think by the beta it should be pretty much good to go.
