Could we not go for a more sustainable solution? I’m sure they’d make a pretty decent fertiliser.

He became the richest guy on earth because the system is set up to give you infinite money when you hit critical mass of wealth. Why do you think the rich keep getting richer and the poor get poorer?
He did not get here because he’s smart; he’s rich and was too rich to fail. He got a leg up in emerald mines which allowed him to gamble and invest during the early internet days, thus allowing him to continue to invest/gamble.
He’s certainly helping to change the world but not for the better. His philosophies that guide his policies are inciting violence and giving rise to racism and misogyny.
I definitely think he’s a moron, but the system is set up so that I can’t possibly take him or his ilk down. I wasn’t born into a family that owned heaps of wealth and slavery. I’m not a white male.
But in % comparisons, my quality of life is much better than his. That’s where I can take him down.
End rant.
And we’re saying that Elon knows <1% of any manufacturing process, evidenced by inconsistencies of manufacturing process across all his companies. The employees know more, yes, but they are not Elon and Elon is not SpaceX.
And, for starters, not unfathomable but made possible through VC money and years of R&D. This makes it possible and completely fathomable. It’s all maths and science.
Why not, though? What’s stopping anything from being implemented?
Have you read Project 2025? Your country will literally have a government that can implement all of this without resistance. If a group of people had enough fervour to write such a document, do you honestly think that with all this power they wouldn’t implement anything from it?
On top of that, while the US pulls into itself and has a less global presence, it’s going to affect the global economy very negatively as the balance of power shifts. With DT at the helm, the balance of power will tip towards China being the next biggest economy.
Anyway, you may not notice a big change unless you’re wealthy. Under DT, the poor stay poor but the rich get richer.
For the drum machine, definitely! But we largely kept to our tempo or maybe double. It was a free gig and we were getting paid in beers. I think it was pretty funny for the audience too. Great night.
I used to sing in a post punk band. We had a drum machine. In the middle of one gig, the drum machine spazzed out and deleted all the internal memory, and started a 600bpm bossa nova loop. We played right through to the end.
Well, from where you’re standing, everyone’s a leftie.
Hmmmm. And Shintoism?
Edit: I’m being cheeky. Looks like religion turns itself into tribalism when a certain population point is reached.
Buddhism is pretty alright though, isn’t it?
Authoritarianism != Communism
Communism is about the power of the working class, seizing the means of production, and self governance. No government has effectively put into practice communist practices because the concept of government itself is contrary to communism.
There’s been a decades long movement in the US to demonise communism (and socialism) in favour of capitalism. There used to be overtly communist political groups in America.
Anyway, it’s an interesting read. I highly recommend you read up about communism and what it stands for. Also capitalism because we’re all more or less living in a crony capitalist world.
And who will decide what is good and bad behaviour? Hmm? And what advantage will society as a whole get from this?
Hmmmm. That kind of sounds like corrupt rich people.
Nope. Depends on the parent. I still got beat up in the 80s/90s for closing the door too loudly, hitting my brother, waking mum up from an afternoon nap etc. It stopped when I was 17 because I was big enough to hit back (though I never did).
The word you are looking for is ‘fetuses’.
