Measuring how far we have come as a society, with respect to misogyny, by determining which Bond movies are no longer acceptable is a scale I’ve been using for a while; we recently surpassed Golden Eye in my eyes.

I really wish they were useless insects but unfortunately for us they’re important pollinators. How stuff works also did a good podcast about them.

The uncomfortable truth is that that is what matters now. I wish equal attention was given to all aspects of the political spectrum but I guess it would end up in the same situation eventually because people love to feel outraged.

Why they get so much attention is beyond me; it only expands their platform and ragebaits more people.
