Great list, thank! Have you seen children of the whale ? If my memory is correct it could make it on this list. Also I don’t recall any weird stuff in Arcane season 1 (does it qualify as an anime though?).

It’s a misconception/misrepresentation that they are more uneducated or idiotic than average. They may look like it (or the media make them so), but actual idiots wouldn’t be as capable as they are to push their agenda forward.

Tesla gambled on cameras before AI models became usable (the company most certainly committed itself to the camera sensors a few years before it became public). By the time automated driving models became usable, Tesla had tons of camera data to capitalize on, but presumably not the corresponding radar data (or not in a consistent manner), so rebuilding a multi-sensor dataset for AI training was probably not very appealing in terms of cost and time to market.

They don’t even borrow their money to you, they were granted the right to print that money.
Maybe if they don’t pass funding, we just renew the last passed funding.
This is exactly what happened a few days ago in France. While it’s not perfect, it’s still a whole lot better than a shutdown.

nlgranger@lemmy.worldto Mildly Interesting@lemmy.world•Yesterday the price of electricity in Finland was negative 1.5 cents / kWh414·10 months agoA negative price is absurd and has no physical reality, it is the result of speculation and abstract rules not grounded on reality. It always costs to build and operate whatever power source and networks were involved, you don’t have to pay electricity to f*ck off if you produce too much of it.
They are bad at writing software and firmware support is sketchy. That second point is technically the motherboard vendors fault but it could be due to confusing design and documentation on the AMD side. Hardware-wise they are great AFAIK.
centrist-> far liberal, there I fixed it for you. I hate that stupid centrist word which makes them sound like reasonable people. Deregulation, globalization, privatization of public services, these all have brutal consequences on many people. Selling that as a compromise or a status quo is just an advertising stunt.
Hi! Nothing to ask but I just wanted to let you know I appreciate your work!
