So, you don’t think there’s ethical issues with letting machine learning who lives and dies? When did I say they were the exact same technology? Do not assume what I do and do not know based on things I did not say, my friend.
Well, I disagree. They may be trained on different data sets but both represent the same ethical problems with generative AI right now, imho.
You’ve got a particular worldview that I’m not interested in engaging with. Happy holidays.
I don’t have a problem with the concept of generative AI my guy. What you call “primitivism” I call having an ethical issue with basically everything surrounding how it’s done right now. Also, I am a creative person so I do actually believe in IP.
United Healthcare was using AI to deny claims.
Also saying AI has nothing to do with the working class struggle is hilarious.
Very ironic imho to use AI to celebrate this guy.
It’s two days past Festivus though.
Doesn’t bother me, I know that it’s an insanely hot take on Lemmy and reddit. I appreciate the vocal backup though.
A very hot take on Lemmy.
YouTube Premium is the only media subscription I pay for because it’s the only one I consider worth it. I watch an unhealthy amount of YT, listen to tons of music, and even use YT as a kind of cloud storage for thousands of hours of recorded video.
Why would you comment this and not just remove it?
Claims cost money. Backing up claims costs even more money. Poor people don’t have money to do these things.
Not even us healthcare corps would fuck with Nintendo.
No, poor people can’t.
Of course it’s a person to person thing.
My partner is a millennial and she had never seen Seinfeld until we first watched it together a few years ago. It’s not that inconceivable to imagine not everyone grew up watching the same things as you.
It’s not like every millennial watched it growing up. It’s not inconceivable that there are millennials who are seeing it now for only the first time and find it offensive.
“just say the words” really sums up the problem.
No, please read my comment carefully. I said they represent the same ethical problems. You should not use quotes when you are not, you know, actually quoting me.
I am maybe not the best with words but I did not mean to imply they are the exact same issue. Please stop replying to me about this topic now.
