I have mixed opinions on self checkout… but the best is when I go to buy beer, and only beer. Someone that works there has to ID me and plug my birthday into the computer anyway so it’s like shrodingers self check out.

On a more serious note, I enjoy not having to make small talk with the cashier but also would rather not be watched like I’m a thief when I ring out my stuff.

Also, it’s kinda nice to eat all organic fruits and vegetables and only pay the prices for the GMO versions.

I’ll be that guy… in reality, an Axolotl and a Chameleon aren’t going to be hanging out and looking at the night sky. Axolotls live under water and can spend short periods of time outside of the water. Chameleons live above water and spend almost no time under water. These two animals live in environments that are inherently exclusive to one another.

I blame both; the Trump voters, and the self described “leftists,” for not voting against fascism (which is in direct opposition to progressiveness and leftism). I think it’s really stupid to argue about it at this point though too. Greater than 50% of the USA is fucking stupid.

It’s possible that both Trump voters, and the people that self-identify as leftist that didn’t vote for Kamala are BOTH idiots.

Weird… as a cis heterosexual white male, I don’t find myself hanging around people that I need to censor or correct at all. I’ve proactively cut all of those people out of my life within the past 8 years. My friends are the folks you don’t need to tell stuff like this to.

I will say, in the process of removing people that were awful, they tend to just laugh when they are “corrected,” as they find amusement in the antagonization. Once you separate yourself from them, it’s just 2-3 confused text messages and that’s the end of it.

There’s a lot of people that often get thrown into the “eugenics” crowd; but they’re actually advocating for no one to have kids at all. It’s not about selective genetics; it’s about less people overall.

I remember back in 2017, talking to the director of marketing at the company I was at at the time, and she was telling me about how she spent all day getting bad reviews removed from Glassdoor. I didn’t use it much before that, but I haven’t visited the site once since then.

Or… just start pushing actual socialist policy; since everything gets called socialism anyway, we may as well enjoy it.
