I have had a comment of mine removed from .ml for (correctly) indicating that hexbear is not a trustworthy instance.

Unfortunately I see tankie sentiments expressed far too often on Lemmy. Case in point this very thread: https://lemmy.world/comment/11331168

I did see this kind of extremist view expressed on Reddit too, but far less commonly than here.

Pro tip, you need to include the /s when you make over the top jokes like that. There are so many insane losers that actually believe it, if you don’t make it clear you’re not serious, you look like you’re one of them.

I took a look at their profile. Best as I can tell they’re either a tankie or one of those “both sides” kids. You know the type. Not worth engaging with, IMO.

They’ve made some fantastic comics, and they’re on Patreon! I highly recommend you check out more of their stuff, they’re pretty hilarious.

Don’t forget that from Daniel’s testimony, we learned Trump coerced her under threat of blackballing her in the television industry.

Daniels testified she said “I think we should go” and moved toward the door but Trump allegedly stood in her way saying in part, “This is the only way you’re getting out of the trailer park.” Daniels could not remember how she ended up on the bed, but testified that they had sex in the missionary position and Trump chose not to use a condom. Daniels insisted she was neither forced nor under the influence, but also said it wasn’t something she wanted and that she “blacked out”.
