Fuck you, sincerely. I never asked to be born in this shithole, and our political system was fucked before I even had a chance to vote. We’ve enough suffering without armchair assholes wishing more on us.

I’m not hopeful it will, especially since the U.S. has already gone back to killing children instead.
I guess you’re right. For the comic to really be accurate, it’d need a panel with the news saying “Awful man has solid ideas and policy regarding the economy.”
This take only works if the new media is reporting on Trump accurately and factually.
The problem is that they are not. Organizations like the New York Times and the Washington Post spend most of their wordcount trying to wrangle the vile nonsense that Trump is spewing into something intelligent and legible, often by lying or misrepresenting his words. They’re not reporting his atrocities, they’re whitewashing them, and we should absolutely call that out as complicity.
I don’t think Florida has been cool at any point in my lifetime. They started meth before I was born, and by the time I was old enough to form memories they were most well known for “Florida Man.” You’d have to go back to the 80s to find a time when Florida was cool.
As someone born and raised in the U.S., that number honestly seems too low. Yes, there are easily that many irredeemable fascists in America.
It’s to my understanding that Dropout is doing pretty damn well, so I imagine he’s pretty rich from that. Not billionaire rich, but likely a millionaire.
Maybe don’t tout a half-measure that comprimised with literal ghouls as a defining unequivocal win for the party then?
We were an oligarchy.
With the new administration, it would be more apt to call the US a plutocracy.
Hey why did we get the shitty ACA instead of actual universal healthcare if the Dems had power and were committed to getting universal healthcare?
The thing is, that culture has been breaking. More and more people have internalized the idea that there is a seperate legal system for the rich and powerful. Politeness is being eroded in favor of toxicity. People are losing trust in political institutions.
The U.S. is a powder keg of poor, desperate people waiting for a match.

That’s what makes it so wonderful. A madman has taken the keys, and his platform is built by crazies who idolize guns more than their own children. You could no sooner remove gun culture from America than you could alcohol or cheeseburgers.
Oh no, it would be such a shame if the culture of constant violence began to introduce some of that violence to the people responsible for and benefiting from said culture of violence. A united movement of violence against the owners of capital might remind them of the collective power the proletariat wield, and the relevant safety benefits provided by a cooperative framework. What a terrible and horrible thing to happen.
You know how people like to satirize the stock market by claiming it runs on blood?
We’re living in a satire.
There’s no greater feeling of power than watching a DPS die because they were using too much of my mana that could be better spent on the tank. Sorry, I’ve decided your life isn’t worth saving, you can think about your mistakes on the ground for this pull.
In the U.S., cops statistically do nothing. They don’t prevent crime, they don’t solve crimes, they’re just a publically funded security firm for local businesses to contract. It would honestly be more surprising if you had a useful interaction with the police.
Even though this is all colloquially known and accepted, don’t think of arguing to lower the police budget in any way. Gotta make sure those buffoons have their surplus army equipment so they can feel safe while they rob and oppress citizens.
The problem is voters on both sides want a fascist. They might not be able to agree on which person they want to give ultimate power to, but they know that everyone else should fall in line and agree with them unquestioningly.
Racism is one of the only institutions Americans are still willing to vote to protect.
tell me you haven’t worked in food service without saying it.
Americans really fucking suck.
