Yes, this is how I read it as well. The library would support to use a local model, but they decided to just send the audio data to Google.

The tool looks interesting, but the website is horrible.

• Some of the colors make the text hard to read.
• Download links do nothing without JavaScript.
• When I enable JavaScript and try to scroll up on my smartphone, I refresh the page instead, because scrolling is intercepted by JavaScript.
