From what I hear it’s best to avoid Broadcom-based routers if you plan to install OpenWRT.

I went through the comments, and I’m still lost. What is the punchline here? Is a long string of bad gun safety decisions by multiple people funny, or am I completely missing the joke?
Not sure what phone you have, but on Android you just hit power and volume down at the same time.
That’s why you’re getting that stuff. They don’t (want you to know they) know anything about you, so they’re just feeding you the generic sludge which generates the most engagement: Ragebait. My history is enabled, and I just get an endless flow of woodworking videos, nerdy facts and comedians.
They may not even be trying, it’s just an inherent feature of the business model. They make money from ads. The more time people engage with the content, the more money they make. People argue more in the comments (or, in other words, engage more) when they’re angry. So by tuning everything for max revenue you get ragebait bubbling up as a natural consequence.
Yeah, and then it’s time to sell another coin.
Nice!
For others considering this, keep in mind that not all phones support external monitors, they need specific hardware for it. Pretty much all Samsung S phones support it, Pixels do not. So check if your phone supports external displays before you buy any hardware!
Getting a USB dock instead would probably get you both charging and Ethernet.
We know how it works, but we can’t explain exactly how it got to the answers.
It wants to show you a graph of your air quality.
He wrote about couch fucking in his book like it’s something everyone does. He likes to add a lubed glove.
I miss when I didn’t know this sort of thing about the candidates…
Also: Move stuff, don’t delete it. It’s faster to restore from a renamed folder than from backup.
The challenge makes sense coming from Trump. He was super proud that he passed a cognitive test earlier, while everyone else was asking what prompted the test in the first place. No doubt he thinks he’s actually smart for having passed and thinks he could beat Biden.
It is in fact often intentional. It’s basically the same business model as printers. They make money from the refills, not the machine. Obviously people want to save money with generic paper, so they make sure the dispenser only works right with their paper.
What the dispenser manufacturer doesn’t consider is that whoever orders the paper doesn’t use the dispenser, so they don’t give a shit whether the dispenser works well or not. In fact, it not dispensing well saves even more money on paper!
It also didn’t help that Poettering isn’t particularly popular on a personal level. I think there would have been a lot less drama if he had better people skills.
Using a file system is much less bad than dynamically allocating memory, at least as long as you keep a predefined set of files.
Maybe she’s Canadian and just being polite. You really can’t know.
About a decade ago my employer had an intern present their findings from analyzing some survey data. One of the findings was this:
“People who answer surveys are really old. Like really old. Like thirty.”
