He is right about the Palestinian humanitarian orgs, been doing that for a year. I don’t know about the military, unless he means Biden is probably not doing all he can to prevent them from being misused domestically. Don’t know anything there

Biden is not sharpening the knife: he simply placed a knife sharpener on the counter and is a good sport about letting others use it .

It always was a caretaker presidency, that’s what I thought when he first got into office.

I expect thoughtful words from his speeches as he gently leaves office

  • And that is definitely an issue .

Here is another take, I think the mortality patterns would have differences per county based on how many towns and food stores there are. But I don’t see it, for example Lufkin would have a higher life expectancy because so much of that county is a metro area, but it does not stand out against the other counties

In East Texas the further one is away from Houston the less their life expectancy. We all eat the same stuff, I think. The difference maxes out to 5 years average less per person, near Louisiana, but if you look at the actuary stats it’s a straight line correlation between medical center distance and how long we live, on average

This honestly is repeated for many states in the USA. The metro areas have same life expectancies as Europe and Japan, but it’s balanced out by rural lack of access and fewer preventative cares.

  • A good percentage of my parent’s friends did not get to be adults ( 1930’s and 1940’s)

They were buried with a lot of love but now days a lot of the people who took care of the graves are long gone too.

It’s not like all the kids were in a rich and well maintained cemetery the last 4 generations, and it’s not uncommon to accidentally kick a small headstone in the weeds here and there, in forgotten plots.

Antibodies would have helped many, but many were killed by diseases coming back. I’m sure modern medicine will help many survive today. But that just seems like a lot of needless pain and suffering

Anytime I see an antivaxer I like to try to invite them to walk a bit
