Genuine question, what are you doing on a regular basis where you would expect to get ticks on you while wearing jeans? Are you a pokemon trainer walking through tall grass all day?

If someone else has to debug the problems caused by a parent naming their child with a special character, does that make the parent the bugger? 🤔
It’s an interesting thought but you gotta admit it would be silly to have a boss in a game that you absolutely cannot beat. Like your character just gives in to madness/despair as soon as you encounter the boss.
Now maybe if you had a dark souls boss fight while a different big unimaginable entity tries to catch up with you might be interesting. But that also might just be a countdown timer on the boss fight which could be lame if not done well.
That’s nuts (sorry). 400 calories of peanut butter is only 2 servings, 4 tbsp. I’m a big PB fan as well, and can easily eat 2-3 servings a day. I wonder if other nut butters have the same risks and would make good alternatives.
Is PopOs or mint getting support for HDR? I’m dual booting PopOs but the lack of HDR support is of the things holding me back.
I wish every article that talks about “ultra-processed” foods would just link to the NOVA system or some other reference. Otherwise it just makes their statements seem so empty.
Yep, bread isn’t necessarily in the ultra-processed category but most of the common brands are.
Doesn’t mean you have to stop eating bread. Reading those NOVA guidelines and comparing the foods you eat will give you a lot to think about though.
Ok you might be a little crazy for using vim in 2024 :D but it depends on the context. Editing a quick config file from command line? Sure. Working on a big project? No way, give me an IDE with real navigation and auto complete functionality.
I think part of the reason is just that the barrier to entry for software development continues to drop with IDEs, dependency/package managers, etc. It’s really easy to get a working knowledge of your tools without knowing how they really work under the hood, which is good and bad.
GitHub is many things nowadays. Some people use it sort of like a blog where they can easily post long pages of text, sometimes it’s the first thing that shows up in the search results when you search for a computer/phone problem.
I’m gonna sound old here but the younger generations are in general less computer literate than they were back in my day, and a lot of people have no qualms about downloading and running random exe’s from discord or mediafire.
Have you updated recently? A few weeks ago there were some changes to YouTube that basically shut down newpipe and other similar clients, but an update should have fixed that.
Ok yeah fair. I live in tick country as well so any time you go in ankle high grass you will likely get ticks. I mostly just put on my outdoor pants or bug spray if I expect to do so.
