What a terrible day to have eyes
What a terrible day to have eyes
Get the fuck out of here
I find this kind of “appeal to the system when it agrees with me” strange
Yeah, you got to skip over the “getting the wire there” part. If you wanted to replace all that line with cat 5e or cat6 so you can get full duplex gigabit speeds it’d be a much harder task than slapping some rj-45 end onto some old cat 5.
$300 in labor is wildly optimistic and true for a simple cable run, maybe
If run probably even a “short” run will typically be at least 20ft. Think, from a wall plate, up an 8ft wall, across a crawl space, down another 8ft wall.
Not all cable runs are simple
Yeah this kinda overlooks a lot of the issues with like… getting a cable somewhere
WE ARE INCLUSIVE HOG CRANKERS

Lot of certainty in this comment without much knowledge
Leave the old man alone
“The first is the use of cross-image optimization that enables Chameleon to create one P3-Mask per user…”
Dead in the water if Im understanding this correctly
Imagine having a 24hr devops team
Okay…
Three guys went drinking together and crashed into a tree last night
Okay…
fine. Then someone comes up and says “I need PTO this week”. You tell them “sorry we can’t, too many people are out, we couldn’t get round the clock support like we have in the contract”.
Ok. That’s the companies problems, not the employee requesting PTO
then they leave anyways. And when they leave, the prod suddenly shits itself and there is noone who is there to react for the next 7 hours.
Alright so, here’s my read:
This hypothetical company agreed to providing 24 hour support, then only staffed 4 people in the same geographic area capable of providing that support.
To me this reads like an organization that was fundamentally incapable of providing the product they’re advertising in the first place without abusing their employees
Therrrree it is… that funny feeling…
What kind of question is this?
Ok but again, we’re talking about Korea
I thought we were talking about Korea?
Now imagine what the big guys have available to em
