You seem to think nuclear power is cheap. It is not. Renewable energy with storage is much cheaper.

I initially read that as 0.11/kWh and was wondering why that was such a big deal since I pay $0.13/kWh. Then I noticed the c.
That and the lead that is in it.
There is a difference between undesirable corner cases and the garbage that is first past the post. Changing it to even ranked choice increases engagement and how politicians politic. So changing the voting system does indeed help a whole host of problems. There are obviously some other things that need to change like having publicly funded elections, increasing the House of Representatives and having multi member districts, making the Electoral College obsolete, etc.
Do people blindly support it? I live with it and vote accordingly but I also advocate for alternative voting methods. People voting third party do not fully understand that our first past the post system makes it so their candidate has no chance.
His possessions included a $55 million house. Boo fucking hoo.
Within a year of resigning from the top job at Peloton, he had raised $25 million for his new venture, a direct-to-consumer rug company called Ernesta.
So he failed at one company massively and investors were dumb enough to throw $25 million at him for making fucking rugs?
OMG. I completely forgot they used to come in those. It’s like “let’s not just have this very degradable plastic have really salty food in it, let’s go ahead and add some water and microwave it.”
I wonder why we are finding micro plastics in people. /s
I think I have seen crappy styrofoam coolers a couple years ago for 4th of July. Those at least are meant to have containers inside of them. Drinks though, especially acidic ones, are nuts to put in styrofoam. That shit breaks down pretty easily which means it is going straight into your drink.
I’ve had the Double Down because it was an absurd idea. Mine tasted like an entire shaker of salt.
Honestly I thought it was here. It definitely already was in Seattle. I have not seen styrofoam for drinks outside of the South for over a decade.
Quite a few east Asian countries unfortunately. The Asian grocery store down the street is probably 50% plastic wrap by weight. .
On an American note, I recall buying compostable Keurig pods in bulk from a company that advertised how comparing is good for the environment. I had previously bought them in 12 pod batches which came in one resealable plastic bag. I received a box of 72 individually plastic wrapped pods. I emailed them to check to see if maybe those were made off industrially compostable plastic. Nope.
Also looking at my kids’ string cheese being wrapped and then individually wrapped makes me cringe. I have to find another solution for that.
Oof ouch owie my planet.
Most vegans in the US do not eat food that mimics meat.
Most Western butt holes cannot handle Indian food that well. The couple times I went to Indian weddings, I was clamoring for anything that would not burn my butthole. The good combined with the ridiculous amount of alcohol made the toilets cry.
How many people called you stupid for buying meat free alternatives? I largely do not eat meat and I can count on one hand the number of times it has been mentioned in the past decade. It’s also only comparatively expensive because meat is so subsidized.
I mostly do not eat meat because it is fucking terrible for the environment.
Well I can tell you why Linux does not have a higher adoption rate: toxic shit like this.
I thought falling for bullshit was something the right did. This photo is from when she signed the LEARNS Act and had nothing to do with the abhorrent loosening of child labor laws she signed.
Are you that fucking stupid? There are a ton of Russians, Belorusyans, and Ukrainians who are blond haired and blue eyed. They also did not include 36 million people in Uzbekistan which has very few blond haired blue eyed people. You know who also is not blond haired and blue eyed? Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan who see it as a benefit that the shitty Soviet Union broke up. But I guess you do not give a shit about them. That seems pretty racist of you.
It’s not racist to recognize that ignoring the over 100 million people that live in states that were either Soviet or Soviet puppet states kind of fucking skews the results.
Your argument makes no sense. Go back to summer school, child.
The question was not asked in the Baltic states or Uzbekistan. The question was also not asked in Soviet puppet states like Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, etc.
Most of those are also authoritarian. Tossing out one dictator for another is not going to leave people very satisfied.
Toes and feet are next to genitals.
