Same thing happened to salt. Things like potato chips flavoured with salt are considered plain.

I agree, but in this specific case you logically would have started in the centre of the spiral in the overhead view which would equate to downward movement in the side view.
But they definitely chose this because inverting it would absolutely be more associated with a downward spiral. And this kind of looks like a nice tree.
He wasn’t a billionaire. Not even close.
We do that, but then the other parents don’t and there’s a huge disparity anyway.
Here’s some sources:
A 10% increase in school spending improved test scores by 0.05 to 0.09 standard deviations
Oh wait these sources agree with you and that guys probably full of crap.
Not only that, he’s never running again, he has literally nothing to lose, and doing this isn’t going to affect votes/popularity of whoever runs next.
99% of people in his position would do the same.
Tomorrow you’re going to be inheriting our in-house framework that uses legacy code from before PHP 7.0 with zero documentation and no dependency management.
I haven’t been there in a while but I remember there was a sub of volunteers that were around for years that went around just describing images, way before AI LLM were really a thing.
I’m assuming this is something new being pushed by reddit itself, but as you said, it’s a good thing regardless.
You want to know what the stats were calculated from? Because it sure as heck wasn’t “how many bombs has USA ever dropped ever”.
Over 337,000 bombs and missiles dropped from 2001-2021. This equals an average of 46 per day over a recent 20 year period.

That doesn’t make sense at all. It could easily be some kind of poison curse that takes 7 days, that doesn’t mean if they get stabbed they’ll just be invincible, or if they die that the curse didn’t work, it just means something killed them sooner.
It doesn’t have to be an all powerful curse necklace that literally changes the entire universe to make you avoid death under all circumstances for the next 7 days.
Facebook doesn’t need to spy, the users give it up willingly.
Nice, I’ll have to see if I can dig up my apk of the paid version.
Can you log in yet? Last time I did this I couldn’t log into an account, only browse.
Disagree, if every user of these 10 apps did this it would end up a lot better for them all than every user choosing their favourite and giving them $50. If they choose randomly it would end up roughly the same, but in general people are going to end up skewing towards certain apps over others when forced to choose a favourite.
And if doing it randomly ends up the same as splitting it on a large scale, I think this is the more sensible approach personally.
YouTube Shorts Normal Player

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I instead installed an extension to force shorts to play as normal videos. Some channels have shorts worth watching (imo), but this prevents endless scrolling through short after short, I have to intentionally choose to watch them by clicking on the specific thumbnail, every time.
I find it a decent compromise.
I’ve made custom flashcards for anki to study stuff and I tested this for some similar things and it was a lot faster and easier. Anki feels like it takes forever so the investment to make a custom set is only worth it for things you need to study for a long time.
If all you want is to generate a bunch of flashcards fast and you have a pdf with the info presented clearly it’s an easy method.
They’re trash without it because they are actually plain without it.
