I got a lot of thoughts, takes over the whole machine sometimes

Ugh, I always have like 5 of these slow cooking in my brain at any given time. And I’ll be warming up another 5 old hobbies I’ve not touched in years.

I’ll eventually have a dam breaking moment where all my hobbies just switch at once.

Did the first half of the trail in '22 and I can concur. I had to stop to make money, but it was so much fun and I miss it every day. I’ll be back out there again soon

I just got through this whole obsession trying to figure out what scent this one soap was. It finally turned out to be vetiver AND bergamot! Sigh. Now I made my own evil laugh

For me it’s planting a food forest… Which needs mulch to prepare the soil so it’ll be ready for planting in the spring. Oh shoot the mulch guy is coming today

It’s not a waste to play an instrument badly. Most instruments are forgotten and ruined by time and decay. Loving an instrument and playing badly it is so much better than it rusting in an attic!

Does anyone know why the double speed thing works? It’s very effective for me too, I usually keep video at 1.5x often will have to jump it up to 2x to be able to handle it

It baffles me how much humans want to control each other. Any three humans in a room and you’ve got four opinions on how everyone else should live.

I wanted to say the same thing, use it or lose it.

Pain sometimes comes from injury or other mechanism, but loads of people with back pain just need to exercise more.

A strong back will do wonders.

Likewise a strong wrist will resist keyboard pain. It won’t tolerate bad typing posture or a crappy keyboard, but it will resist pain with a good ergo keyboard and good posture

I’ve had a few of these over the years, possibly the best value for price ever. Every place I live, I just get another one and leave it there like some kind of Johnny Bidetseed.

One would think that reflection of the impact of literature on ones personal life is an important part of analysis.

Also that teachers should be fully and authentically present for their students, not just glorified YouTube lectures.

Your comment here indicates you think being able to talk over others is an important part of the job. Why do you see that as an important attribute? Does the President of the most powerful country in the world often need to be the loudest person in the room? Do they need to dominate conversations, preventing other people from talking, to do their job effectively?
