  • Yeah the protests seemed to have mostly stopped since the election. They achieved their goal of disenfranchising Democrats and getting Trump elected. Whaaat? Yeah I said that. To those who are about to yell at me, I ask this: Who exactly was the protest leadership? I don’t mean your local organizer. I mean who was directing the protests at the national level. I sure as shit don’t know. And if Gaza is sooo much more important than Sudan, the decade long civil wars in Syria and Yemen, the forced relocation of Afghan refugees in Pakistan, and whatever the fuck is going on in the Congo, why have you stopped protesting?

  • Not division, just facts. Millions sat on their hands rather than do the bare minimum to forestall whatever the Hell the right wing is going to unleash on us all. There are plenty of reasons why Trump won and lazy shits who wouldn’t vote in light of Project 2025 are absolutely part of the problem. I’d tell you all to go fuck yourselves, but you already did…

Everything that’s coming: If you didn’t vote, you voted for it. If you voted Shill Stein, you voted for it. If you voted Trump and you “didn’t know it would be this way”, you’re as complicit as the non-voters and the boutique voters.

Deliberate ignorance, a lack of critical thinking, and the propaganda that you allowed to game your emotions were all at play here.

Y’all had a choice between less-than-perfect & and straight up hatred. Your choice was to let hate reign. And now you’re gloating about it. So fuck you for that. And your quaint meme is the equivalent of smearing your own shit on the wall in a tepid little tantrum, complete with wrongly framed arguments. Go ahead and downvote me or write a pithy faux angry response. This is social media. It’s fucking meaningless. Voting had meaning. As do the mass deportations that are the cornerstone of Trump’s campaign promises. You petty fucks.

I don’t know who is driving the Gaza protest rhetoric. It’s a question that should be answered. Because the absolute anti-Democrats narrative while simultaneously getting extraordinarily butthurt if anyone points out the Trump/Republican stance (and the fact it’s Congress that votes the Israeli aid) is indicative of foreign-based propaganda that cares NOT AT ALL about Gaza. It’s about getting Trump re-elected. Either that or the people posting here and across social media calling this war a genocide are just plain stupid or really, really feel self-fulfilled by their own anger.

You wanna complain about an actual genocide, look up what’s happening in Sudan as we speak.

  • You wanna change the Democratic Party? Maybe vote more than once every four years. State and local elections have garbage turnouts and this is where right wingers shore up their power (because they ALWATS vote). You need to vote every election, always. You want left leaning Democrats in office? Their careers start small, at the local and state level. Vote for them there and support them as they gain experience and reputation.

But this griping about the electoral process and lack of choices in a national election is just lazy bullsh*t. Yes, a vote for anyone other than Harris is a vote for Trump at this point.
