Edit: My hope is a real grassroots movement to incite change and promote progressive ideals without the DNC influence, our revolution was kinda like that but it fizzled out under the weight of the DNC and Bernie wasn’t front and center leading it. Just imo

I always argue age (on the higher end) isn’t necessarily the end all be all, there are some extremely sharp older folks out there who have good valuable insights, desires, etc and therefore shouldn’t have an age cap per-say.
What we should have is mental ability checks because it happens way too often that someone is clearly in cognitive decline yet they’re still allowed to hold their seat.
It’s an extremely simplistic to just say old = bad.
