At least where I was, when it came out it was $5 for the ‘six-dollar burger’, almost immediately after they threw in a bunch of other ‘big’ burgers. Odd that they tried to makr a 1/3 pound burger seem huge when McDonald’s (at least in America) had been offering double quarter pounders for longer than I can remember.

I thought the ground beef was found to be like 30-40% beef and mainly whey? I vaguely have a memory of them being sued for something (maybe 10-15 years back), that coming out, then the “meat” being rebranded across the board as a material they now reference as “seasoned beef”?

Jitsi was a pain for me to get working the way I needed it, but I have to say I’m a fan so far. I haven’t used it too much yet (mainly just testing with myself from various networks/devices), but from what I can tell it’ll work for my use (replacing Google Meet for my family chat uses).

Someone tried to send me a picture they took and it looked like hot garbage until they sent it over email. Not because it couldn’t be sent without feeding it through a potato first, because Apple wants a worse experience for anyone not in their ecosystem.

When they are the oddball in the group though, it just makes iPhone’s look like a worse option.

Sadly I think it has more to do with the way Windows handles stuff in general. My personal machine seems to have no issues, LMDE with the foxes (Firefox/LibreWolf); my work computer though, Windows with the chromes (Edge/Chrome) seems to get confused the moment their is a second profile in the browser.

All that being said, I’ve definitely tried clearing the cookies and just living with it.

I tick that box a hundred times a day and can confirm it doesn’t do shit (at least in my work environment).

I’ll have to respectfully disagree, while it’s not the best game, I can’t say it’s that bad. The whole game shouldn’t take more than 45 minutes unless you’re going easy on someone (like kids but monopoly isn’t really a friendly smiley game).

I guess it’s really up to what type of games you like to play.

Depending on how strict you are with the rules, it can be pretty a fairly quick game. It’s not super quick, but it’s no Axis and Allies or Risk.

Check out Avenue 5, hearing him switch between accents constantly is odd but fun.

Well there was that one part where he turned off his laptop after (not wanting to drop what he did here as the article was pulled), but I could totally see a company freaking out and going nuclear. That being said, I’m just looking through the FreedomGoggles that recently saw a “hacker” using F12 to compromise a bunch of teacher data. You know, their important sensitive data that was definitely not sent to their device where it could be seen by right clicking and hitting view source.

Define “freeloading” for me. They don’t have access to big social services (TANF, SSI, etc) due to not having documentation, roads are funded through fuel taxes as far as I’m aware (so if they’re pumping gas, they’re paying for the roads), dog parks are usually paid out of local sales tax (again, only as far as I know, I live in GA and we’re a fucked up state a lot of times).

Income tax is a big one, but not on a small scale (like municipal level)… Hell, I haven’t ever had a local income tax that I can remember.

Well stated. The thing bothers me is someone had a vision, they had an idea and a chance to present their work on a world stage. That is such a huge honor and a few people thought it was about them and shit all over the moment.

This is why I run several layers of adblock on my network and use plugins to search random terms that seem real, while also clicking every ad that makes it through.

My goal ceased being to contain my interests/info when I realized how much they knew. Now my goal is to just make the data as poisoned as possible.
