I can’t find a specific image of it, only a reddit post talking about it, but in Grinch (2018) he buys green hair dye. I interpret that to mean he is just a normal whoville resident, but dyed green. I suppose his green grinch hair could be graying and he wants to look young, or he could just be some other color and chooses to be green, but I like to imagine him as some crazy naked hermit that makes himself green and everyone else just puts up with it.

Oh ya, you can get care. And then you fight with insurance about whether or not that was the right doctor to use or if it was really necessary in the first place. But insurance won’t talk to the hospital and the hospital won’t talk to insurance so you have to talk to each of them in turn while waiting on hold every time. It’s a wonderful system.

The resume shows experience and the cover letter shows personality. If the job has any kind of soft skills a cover letter is a bonus, if the job is super technical it’s probably not necessary. It also depends on the workplace.

If it is a job you actually want though I would recommend writing something. I’m on a smaller team and read all the resumes of applicants. I actually read them because I’m going to be the one contacting, interviewing, and working with them. I absolutely read the cover letters and give a small bonus to people who include them.

My Vanguard roth IRA is up 11% since 2020, and is up 30% just this last year. If you are investing into individual stocks yourself I would probably reconsider that strategy. Buying individual stocks is closer to gambling than investing.

I see you did total market funds now, idk what to tell you. But if you are not retiring soon it doesn’t really matter. Time in the market is better than timing the market.
