One of the intresting things we are taught about unconscious bias, is besides people actively discriminating agianst outer groups, most people simply reserve postive emotions for inner groups leading people to be kinda like this without really realizing it.

So remember don’t just reconsider your views on natinoalism, but consider everyone else probably has unconscious prejudice agianst others, so don’t just attack them for thier views but at least try to educate them.

Then if they continue to be willfully ignorant shrug…

I have learned, there are people who make alot of money, who aren’t greedy. I have also learned you almost never hear about them because they have either a. spent all their wealth or b. don’t make the news because they aren’t greedy and psychotic.

This is to say, if they have money, and you are hearing about them on the news, chances are they are greedy. No amount of tangible or intangible wealth will be enough for people like him, take Rockefeller for example.

what I described was a pagan tradition, which was “adopted” by, iirc, the catholic church so pagans could convert and still celebrate thier traditions. I don’t remember all the winter solictice traditions but I am sure other traditions or holidays have been added to the amalgam over the centuries, like, the whole deal with Santa.
