  • In hindsight I should have used “or” instead of “and”.

But of course! I really miss having a dishwasher since I flew back home from the US. I know that they absolutely do a better job at cleaning than humans can, and loading it up properly and keeping it organized is such dopamine hit for my OCD brain.

If you live alone, though, I’d advise against using it, or at least get a way smaller dishwasher.

    1. Resolution - having a big screen at the same resolution doesn’t really mean much, and you usually don’t really go higher than 4K for computer monitors. Yes, there are 8K TVs, but good luck being able to afford one.

    2. Performance - if you want to go big, you’re probably thinking of TV screens, and TVs generally just aren’t built for colour accuracy, low latency, or high refresh rates.

    3. Cost - bigger computer monitors are pricier. Besides, if you are upgrading your monitor anyways, well, your old one can just become your secondary display; it’s free screen estate.

    4. Ergonomics - it takes less effort to look from side to side than it is to look up and down. With multiple smaller screens, you can arrange them all to face you cockpit-style; with a giant screen, the edges will look distorted unless you buy a curved display.

    5. Software - most OSs can snap windows to the four quadrants of each display; anything smaller or more unique, and you will have to manually resize each window.

    6. Practicality - if you’re working, gaming, or watching a movie, you want to dedicate an entire screen to your task at hand. Having multiple monitors lets you do that while still being able to check other things on the side. For example, when I stream games, I can play while having my OBS and Twitch stats on the side; when I do any design work, I can pull up references on my secondary display. The black bars are a non-issue.

aight fellas, if you gotta clean out your bum, just buy a douche bulb.

having strong jets of water may fill up your rectum real quick, but 1. it’s hard to control how much water is being used, 2. the pressure may damage your insides, and 3. you’re also introducing air into you which will just cause a bloated feeling and farts.

your rectum doesn’t have much volume, so being able to control how much water you use ensures less water goes up your intestines and therefore less discomfort and oopsie dookies on daddy’s dick.

oh and have more fiber in your diet.

  • if i may be pedantic for a sec, a lot of people mistake punishment for “negative reinforcement”.

“reinforcement” means encouraging and reinforcing desired behaviour. “positive reinforcement” is providing positive stimulus as a reward for good behaviour, like giving a dog a treat for obeying commands. “negative reinforcement” is removing negative stimulus as a reward, like stopping the obnoxious low-health beeping when you heal a pokemon from critical health.

“punishment” is for discouraging undesirable behaviour. “positive punishment” is adding negative stimulus, such as physical abuse; and “negative punishment” is taking something away, like taking away an unruly teen’s phone.

  • before i engage with you on this, i’d like to ask you a few questions:

    1. are you eligible to vote in the US

    2. who do you plan on voting for

    3. if you, gun to your head, have to choose between harris or trump, who would you prefer?

EDIT: it has been two days and the person i’m replying to still hasn’t responded. if one is unwilling to engage in constructive discourse, one should not make wild claims.

you keep saying “vote” as if it means the same thing in a ranked-choice voting system and a first-past-the-post voting system.

newsflash: you’re not making the difference you claim you’re making. if anything, you’re making it worse. congratulations! good job! you did it! you get a good star!
