I saw news reporting about it at the time, and if I recall correctly her descendants were actually proud of her being the mascot and thought it was cool.

We already know Trump is abominable. But tons of people still fall for him… so we want someone who has the strength to defeat him… It’s not complicated. Biden needs to stand aside and give Dems the best chance we can get.

Exactly, he was served up tons of opportunities to make great and compelling points and garbled them all. Trump is so terrible of a candidate you can think of anything at any time and make a great case against him. Biden sounded months away from hospice care.
