Fair enough. I’m raising my kids in a similar fashion. I dislike the sexual repression in the west (from which I unconsciously still suffer). But I’m still worried about other boys :)

I’m certainly not pro government tracking anything I do, let alone porn watching, but if I see how my own kids get exposed to it through friends. No matter how much I try to educate them, friends still show them absolute vile stuff…

How often does that happen that you recognize this? I can’t remember the last time I hit my head hard enough that it hurt, let alone hard enough to black out for a second.

You don’t need a car everywhere. Most non US developed countries have a robust public transport network. A car is actually less practical than public transport for like 90% of use cases if you live in Metropolitan areas. Same for tourism. Don’t need a car to go visit Paris.
