La Maison du Père costs 1 dollar a night, and they’ll let you in if you explain that you can’t pay the $1.
Some just don’t like shelters. They don’t like the rules, other people, or fear getting their stuff stolen.
Oooh ok, interesting! Thanks for the thorough answer.
I just bothered to look up “truecrime” for the first time. But I’m still confused. What’s the difference between “truecrime” and just “crime documentary”?
I take their comment as a play on words.
Doesn’t “men and boys” have exactly the same meaning though?
I don’t feel deshumanized for being called a male.
Disclaimer: I don’t use the noun “female” because I know some find it offensive.
Haha that failed swatiska!
To their defense, if there’s a sudden collapse, there will likely a surplus of oil laying around that will be available for a while.
To clarify, Native Americans are not humans.

I don’t know, I don’t think of sex as chilling. Just like I don’t see sport as chilling. Chilling should be more calm and less purpose-driven.
That’s an interesting question. I can’t even imagine it was hunger as even kgs of green leaves won’t satiate a family’s hunger. Maybe it was an attempt at checking if the plant could cure when cooked? Maybe it was believed that all stinging and poisonous plants had magical properties? Who knows.
I do the same when I want to start working on any task but it seems daunting or boring and I procrastinate. I just do the first step, like “ok just open the task’s description, read it and try to understand the context”. By the time I did this, I have no difficulty moving to the next step.
Pasteurization is even below what most would consider as cooking temperature. It’s getting your food really hot for a while but not boiling. It’s kind of like edging but in cooking.
Can you even destroy minerals by heat? If there’s an element there it won’t go away. Though I guess the molecule could change and it could be less bioavailable.
There was a king of ancient times who would microdose poison in order to become immune. To his defense, he lived in ancient times.

Created Lord of the Rings, and metal. And made very important contributions to psychedelic rock and blues rock.
Not necessarily. There were several lower rings out there in the world. The One Ring had been lost since thousands of years. I don’t remember what Saruman tells the wizards about it exactly, but essentially, it is probably lost for ages, and Gandalf trusted his wisdom at the time.
When Gandalf meets Frodo at the start of LOTR, he tells him he was getting increasingly suspicious about this ring, and started doing researchs on it, until there was no doubt anymore that this was the One Ring. Tossing it into the fire is only an ultimate confirmation.
I didn’t exist during the 80s.
However, I notice we got thrash metal, black metal, and death metal, all from the 80s. All dark and heavy music, with common themes of violence, often extreme, suicide, and drugs in thrash’s case. Probably not without reason.
