It’s probably because you are the only person to ban me from a sub, on Lemmy, Reddit, anywhere, and you banned me from 7 different subs I had never even posted in. Then you never replied to my questions about why I was banned. Yepowertrippinbastard.

7·17 days agoIs that screenshot from the app? If so, the app appears to be using the Android System Webview. So it has an Internet permission. Personally I would deny that and firewall the app.

1·24 days agoYes, that’s my understanding. So it’s more work to use than point and shoot, which would be a nice feature for someone like me who can recognize major constellations and planets, but not much else.
Planisphere is alright, it’s basic, but does the job. No nasties in it and works offline.
Tubular has sponsor block too.
Do you mean Heliboard? It supports gesture typing, but you need to import the library you want.

I’m just a rando on the internet who wants to stay off corporate databases as much as possible. Why is this kind of shit obvious to me but not to people whose lives may depend on it?
Many email providers have a ‘do not load images’ setting. The two I use, Tuta Mail, and Proton Mail, both have it and I keep it on. When your mom sends you a photo of her new kitten you can just ‘Tap to show images’ or something similar. Images will not be loaded automatically, you need to do it case by case.
For QR codes in the wild, don’t scan them, if you do use something like Binary Eye which let’s you see the path before they are executed. At least you will know the domain isn’t cryptoscam.com

It’s pretty easy to overcook, and it can be quite gamey
There is Open Contacts which also acts as a dialer if you want it too. It creates its own database which could be useful if you don’t want other apps to have your contacts.
It works fine, I use that or Koler
