Sounds to me like you’re usually distracted and now have time to be alone with your thoughts for a while with nothing else to do. Might be more impactful for you, but that’s why many people keep busy and dislike downtime.

It’s pretty hard though to be altruistic without anyone knowing. I guess you can do it through anonymous donation, but what if you don’t have money? The only real way to be altruistic is to do things for others which is pretty much impossible to hide completely. If you for example volunteer at a soup kitchen everyone at the soup kitchen can see you volunteering.

But them living in fear of this, the inconvenience of it, the pain of a rather big expense is definitely worth it.

Usually you take poor people with families for this and get them some kind of exorbitantly high pay for their family if they take a bullet for you. There are enough people that deem this arrangement “worth it”.

You did not see all the trees that died between them that didn’t get the sunlight, because well, they’re already dead and don’t exist anymore for them to be noticed by you. The canopies are perfectly interlocked exactly because of the competition, not a sign of no competition.

We are definitely one of the least competitive species by way of being able to see competitiveness as something undesirable and choosing something else. No other species has the power to choose like that, all other species simply compete as much as possible in their own little biome.

They don’t want the slaves to die, just the ones that aren’t slaves, like the homeless which probably “use” more economic value than they create.

Exactly, they do want people to die that are of no use to them, as there are limited resources on Earth and anyone not serving them is essentially reducing their size of the share.

It’s because Graphene is not a custom ROM. /e/os is. Graphene is just an OS on top of the ROM, and Fairphone doesn’t update their ROM often enough.

This is a complete non-issue though if you use a custom ROM like LineageOS or /e/os.

Do Google Pixel phones come installed with GrapheneOS? We’re talking about custom setups with more privacy here.

I did have to follow the installation instructions, which included unlocking my bootloader, installing adb on my PC, and entering a few command lines.

There is the possibility to buy it preinstalled though, but from a third-party company.
