Maybe he thinks he needs four years of normalizing this idea to make it happen? Or maybe he thinks he will embolden his base by giving them a meme hat to try to bully everyone who keeps pointing out that they’re terrible people?
Edit: also is it weird for a president to have a brand store? I mean, I know Trump always has, hence why this wasn’t the first piece of weirdness that occurred to me. But it IS weird, right?
