I’m sorta inclined to agree with them in a way. Keep emojis in your instant messages and out of your posts and comments. It’s just easier to read that way.
I’ll still message my wife “😂😂😂😂😂😂” when the kids do something funny, I just grew up using emoticons mostly on MSN, but not forums, which to me are sort of a public archive
