Sometimes I feel like I haven’t done much with my life, which might very well be true, but at least I haven’t done this to myself.

Depends, usually I’m 100% fine if I’m in a cinema. At home completely fine unless I’m not feeling the movie. I don’t think I pull the trigger to watch something unless I’m absolutely into the idea which helps I think.
So much fucking coffee. My god it was too much.
I know Australia is American lite sometimes, but we also have most of these issues. Shit is going bad in a lot of places is my understanding.
I was actually wondering about magnesium, I might give supplementing a try. Thanks!
I feel that, when I was first on the stuff I did mistake the high for the functionality. When I did spend time on a lower dose, roughly 3-4 months, I kind of reverted back to being unable to get up and do things, my activation energy was completely shot. I think I was only surviving before medication because I was drinking a ridiculous amount of coffee.
As it is currently, it’s not really a high at all, just the standard stimulant response etc.
That’s kind of crazy, I wish we understood all the mechanisms behind this stuff a bit better so we could avoid that kind of reaction.
Sorry to hear that, I know they can be rough.
I spent a few months on 20mg when the shortage happened last year. It did indeed stop the anxiety but I was completely useless for most of that time unfortunately. I’m thinking maybe a day off a week or something might be enough to see some improvement.
Thanks dude, have a good day
That’s pretty much it yeah, the anxiety and the mechanics behind it for me are pretty well understood at least. Right now it’s more just exploring the weird response the medication is causing, seeing if this is something anyone has encountered themselves.
That’s pretty much the main thing, through they keep trying to slip shit it like the recall function, ads in new places. They also had some real trouble with the new internal CPU management, not sure where that is these days.
Honestly I’m tired of Microsoft pulling this shit. Personally I can take a bad OS launch or needing a little more maintaince on my PC, but I don’t want to fight them anymore for control of my own hardware.
My rimworld prisoner about to be inflicted with the war crime of eating with table.
You’re fucking with me, that was all cigarettes? I was growing up just after it was getting banned and winding down so I wasn’t really around for the worst of it.
For me it helps filter out noises from outside and lets my brain relax a bit. Not sure if that’s the ADHD or the hyper vigilace.
100% agree. I haven’t been on the backend of managing crowdstrike so I don’t know if this is a option, but running a wsuz server and manually weeding out bad updates was such an improvement over rawdogging windows updates.
Gonna try my best here:
Crowdstrike is an anti-virus program that everyone in the corporate world uses for their windows machines. They released a update that made the program fail badly enough that windows crashes. When it crashes like this, it tries to restart in case it fixes the issue, but here it doesn’t, and computers get stuck in a loop of restarting.
Because anti-virus programs are there to prevent bad things from happening, you can’t just automatically disable the program when it crashes. This means a lot of computers cannot start properly, which means you also cannot tell the computers to fix the problem remotely like you usually would.
The end result is a bunch of low level techs are spending their weekends manually going to each computer individually, and swapping out the bad update file so the computer can boot. It’s a massive failure on crowdstrikes part, and a good reason you shouldn’t outsource all your IT like people have been doing.
Oh that could totally work actually with the parabolic reflector. I’m not sure about the leds, I think there might be a lense involved in the phone to direct the flash to a certain radius. It didn’t reverse the image or anything so the focal point must be at the lense itself. Anyway, I’m sure with some messing around we could get such a batsignal torch.
Probably too diffuse still, you would need a focal point in front of the bulb for it to cast a recognisable shadow I think? Because the reflective dish would be bouncing light at all angles around the stencil, including inside the intended shadow. You need something exclusively pointing light in a focused beam.
The flashlight on my phone seems to be a pretty decent for this kind of thing, so whatever led and design that’s got going on could work.
No, but imagine if I was he.
